About Bruce Lacey:
Born in 1927, he has always had a compulsive desire to perform and create things that reflect the emotional and passionate experiences of life, such as the over population of the world, building electric actors, spare part surgery, creating a nuclear family; these are just some of his assemblage sculptures.

He also is partial to making films, such as ‘The Lacey Rituals’ which portrays everyday life within the family, and performances including attempting to fly from Hampstead Heath to Timbuktoo in a flapping wing ornithopter.

In the 1970s he became interested in stone circles and leylines, performing naked rituals to the earth goddess. He helps couples join in alternative weddings.
An artist of great diversity, how can one sum him up?
To label him would be to limit him - he is Bruce Lacey unlimited.
