The Guardian’s award-winning political cartoonist, famous for his ‘If…’ strip which first appeared in 1981, exhibits some of his own favourite strips in a retrospective of his satirical and often controversial work.

Detail from Blairicopter
Since 1990 he has produced four large freestanding cartoons a week on the leader pages of The Guardian, often in full colour. His work has appeared and won awards worldwide featuring lasting images such as John Prescott as a simple minded bulldog and John Major as a pathetic ‘Superman’ with his underpants over his trousers. His merciless and often grotesque caricatures of Tony Blair and gang have cemented his reputation as one of Britain’s most imaginative and radical satirists.
