Alex flew onto the scene in 2003 with a Perrier Best Newcomer nomination for Making Fish Laugh, his innovative, interactive Edinburgh debut. He went on to rule the roost at the Chortle Awards in 2005 winning Best Breakthrough Act.

In addition to his stand up, Alex’s numerous television appearances include Weapons of Mass Distraction (ITV1), 100 Greatest Tearjerkers (Channel 4), The Best of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (ITV) and presented a double feature on Technofile for Sky News. Alex’s hit 2007 Edinburgh show, Birdwatching, is fully supported by the RSPB who has over a 3 million supporters, and with whom Alex has become a champion twitcher.
After a successful run at this years’ Edinburgh Fringe, Alex is ready to fly the nest and take Birdwatching on tour, giving the whole country the chance to peck at his unique brand of Horneithology.
