Voodoo Glow Skulls

In their sixteen years of existence, the Voodoo Glow Skulls have an impressive list of achievements. Seven albums, one million records sold, appearances in exotic locations like Brazil and Japan as well as the creation of a record store, record label, recording studio and a music venue attests to the remarkable creativity and energy of the band.

Formed in 1988, Voodoo Glow Skulls meshed hardcore punk, traditional ska, tough guitar riffs and the Mexican music of their roots to create the prototype for the West Coast ska-core sound, influencing a wide range of bands from Sublime to No Doubt. Unflinchingly honest, their songs often use humor to comment on harsh political realities from racial inequity to unrest overseas. Singing in both Spanish and English, Voodoo Glow Skulls' bilingual musical tradition has been a hallmark of the band since they began.

Random Hand

The four-piece consists of lead vocalist and trombonist, backed up vocally and musically by thunderous guitars and driving drums to create a sound that will blow you away. The Random Hand sound ranges heavy political skacore to Eastern European ska/punk. Describing Random Hand has brought comparisons of King Prawn fronting The Specials or a Capdown meet System Of A Down.

From 2002 to present, Random Hand have been mashing together every influence on their collective plate to finally arrive at what you hear today - an explosively heavy yet infectiously dancey ska-punk-rap-metal mashup that The Talk Magazine describes as "Like I would imagine a Psychedelic acid trip on a crazy fairground ride; fast lights, crazy emotions, excitement, heightened senses...this band blows you away."

Driven by a love for live music, gigs and the road, Random Hand have been ripping up stages over the UK for the past 4 years, clocking up an impressive gig list while touring the 'On the March' EP.

Punktastic.com said: "When 'Tear Down' and 'Morally Blind' kick in, they're both exemplary punk rock songs that nonetheless manage to slip into other music voices seemingly at will...the transitions between light and heavy are always well-handled and steer clear of the predictable formulae that lesser bands never shy away from."

Random Hand

As well as sharing many stages over the years with the likes of The Planet Smashers, Mustard Plug, Skindred, Streetlight Manifesto, Against All Authority, Antimaniax, King Blues, Howard's Alias, and Babar Luck, Random Hand also appeared at Wasted 2005: the UK's biggest punk festival (and are already booked for this year's Rebellion Festival in Blackpool), supported Adequate Seven on their last ever tour, supported Lightyear on their reunion tour and appeared on the lineup for the hugely successful second leg of the 2006 Three Way Dance Tour with Sonic Boom Six and Failsafe.

2007 heralds a new era for the band as they gear up for the release of their debut album 'Change of Plan', due to be released on Riot Music on May 7th, after the band return from supporting The Voodoo Glowskulls on their upcoming UK tour.

Dumpster Pop

The product of centuries of interbreeding throughout the Norfolk countryside, Dumpster Pop have become one Stoke Ferry's biggest tourist attractions (after the public flogging of women and children, and turnip wrestling). Their live shows have been praised in various publications, hailed with examples such as "frenetic, generic, energetic and pathetic - like watching four giant tortoises racing toward a cliff-edge to the theme tune from the 'Rocky' soundtrack."

Weighing in at a combined weight of six hundred and eighty six pounds, Stoke Ferrys finest, DUMPSTER POP - Pioneers of 'Pussy Punk' or a concoction of Melodic Punk, Upbeat Emo, Pyschobilly and Street Punk.

In 2002, the band recorded at JigSaw Studios in Peterborough, home to legendary Jesse James producer Tom Savage. Here they cut their first demo on a combination of alcohol, soft drugs and incompentence. The result brought them to the attention of many people including Moon Ska Europe who then sent them back to record their debut album, "Punch the Clown", a concoction of full on riff-a-plenty, melodic, tuneful Punk with a delicious, sausage tinged aftertaste that can last up to 4 hours.

It is best that the UK public is forewarned that the band have now rediscovered their taste for gigging. The band have shared a stage with bands such as BAD MANNERS amongst others and toured the nation with the likes of Solabeat Alliance, Graveltrap, Zen Baseballbat, BaBar Luck, Whitmore, Mixtwitch, Sonic Boom Six and the Pink Crusaders amongst others.
