Lot 55
Combining American and British influences to create their own fresh, melodic sound, Lot 55 have taken great strides since playing their first gig in late 2005, their memorable songs and impressive live performances gaining them an ever-growing following and reputation in their home city. After working on building up their following with a series of local gigs, the band really picked up momentum after a successful support slot at Island Records signings Cord's homecoming gig in October 2006 at a packed Norwich Waterfront. In May 08 they also supported One Night Only at the Waterfront in Norwich.
They kicked off 2007 by selling out their first headline show at Norwich Arts Centre, lining up their first London gigs, and clinched support slots with the Inspiral Carpets and The Bluetones. With a very successful first headline gig at The Waterfront and another sold out Norwich Arts Centre headline date behind them, these are exciting times for Lot 55. And with a debut single release on All Sorted!?! Records planned, backed by a UK tour, they look set for bigger things in 2008.
"They may be unsigned but that sounds as good as anything else I've played tonight" - Clint Boon, XFM Manchester & Inspiral Carpets
"Lot 55 give out a lot of energy, almost every song powered along tight melodic grooves with strong vocal harmonies, while the nimble bass work kept the back line interesting...they take their influences in a positive direction and really do drive along it" - NO MUSIC review
"Lot 55, what can one say about how they have grown and matured over the last eighteen months. 2007 saw them really grow as a live act and they deserve all the plaudits they get. Having the balls to book a premier venue a week into the new year, the sell out crowd fully vindicated the decision...Lot 55 will be big news in 2008. In fact they already look ready for the bigger stage. With the right promotion I see them as the next big thing to come out of this fine city" - www.rocksellout.com review
The Chartists
The Chartists are a five piece hailing from Sheffield, have speedily gained a fierce reputation as one of the city’s finest live bands. They export their own unique brand of uncompromising rock ‘n’ roll, strewn with blues licks laced with heavy drums. They certainly ain’t a band for the faint hearted. In the last year their live exploits have seen them cross paths with bands as diverse as The Pigeon Detectives, Ocean Colour Scene, and The Checks. 2008 promises to be a huge year for the band, with a string of UK dates and new recordings in the offing.

Halfway Hero
Formed in early March 2007 Halfway Hero have been writing original material with each other for just over three months now and already have a full arsenal of songs to choose from. Formed on a spur of the moment decision from drummer Jimmy and guitarist Rob in a music lesson. Bassist Ben was quick to join the line-up and finally guitarist Joe was added to complete the band after an impromptu jam with Rob one afternoon. After headlining the Waterfront for their first gig at the BBC Blast Event with The Great Leap Forward on the 12th of April 2007 Halfway Hero are set for greatness and who knows what could happen.....
